AFAIK the setup menu only appears on screen with HDMI, that means you would have to use the front panel to do the setup unless you use a HDMI connection the 521 also does not feature format conversion, which means that if you use RCAs to the amplifier, you must again use RCAs to the TV. Same goes for HDMI.
