Why does my Denon 2805 receiver keep shutting off?
I have a Denon 2805 receiver, my front speakers are Mythos Ones, back speakers are Mythos Twos, and surrounds are definitive technology ceiling speakers. Anytime I turn up my volume anything above slightly normal, the receiver starts to beep then shut off. This happens every time no matter how long the receiver has been turned on.

Denon receivers run very toasty indeed. I have a 6200 running R Series speakers which is in a cabinet but with adequate ventilation, especially above. No heating issues even running for over eight hours a day. There is only one way to check and that is too test the unit out in the open.
