What kind of CD-RW does the Philips cdr785 use?
Hey Guys!~ After long searching, I found the right CD-RW for the the Philip CDR785 Recorder. It is the TDK 1×4 write speed CD-RW. The low speed is the key. It is 80 minutes and 700 mb. Works perfectly!!! Don’t throw away that 785!!! So the saga continues with the Philips CDR785 and other CDR burners they build.
When did the Philips cdr-775 3 + 1 come out?
I have the Philips CDR-775, the innerworkings of this model and other relesed before and after this one IE; CDR-785 3+1, CDR-765, and others around the same years, 1999,2000,2001. It would be my guess that the same technology was used for the recording part.
Can a Philips 785 burn to a CD?
The first two days that is! I early on burned to CD-RW first, then just used the CD->CD mode to copy the finished disk after I was happy with the results on the CD-RW – that really works! I have a Philips 785 and the only CD-RW discs that would work on it were Memorex and Maxell.
