What are the special plugs for Sony dav-dz260?
Just bought the DAV-DZ260 to go with my 40W4000. Thought before setting it up, would upgrade the speaker cables to enhance the sound quality. My problem is that on the back of this system (DVD player/amp), there are ‘special’ colour coded plugs plug into the back.

Is there a way to upgrade Sony speakers?
Sony parts only, which are only sold as complete kit connected to the lead and connector, like I’ve already got. Crimps are not sold seperately. My option is to chop the crimp off and solder new wires on, which my mate could do but a bit time consuming. My best option is to use original leads and not upgrade at all.
Can a dav-dz280 play sound from a TV?
Wow.. thanks for the quick reply. The DZ280 has one SCART and one HDMI by way of connections. There is also a digital media port where the the ipod host connects and stero mini plug for say an MP3 player. Which of these needs to be connect to the Toshiba TV for sound.
