Is there a problem with Onkyo tx-nr636?
I have Onkyo TX-NR636 and since last 1 month its giving me serious problem. It randomly shuts off while playing or would immediately turn off as soon as i turn it on. I have tried everything available on the internet without any success.
How old is the Onkyo receiver Model # 575?
I have an Onkyo receiver that is about 5 years old. The model # is 575 and it has been great until a few days ago. I turned it off Saturday night (it was working fine), the when I turned it on Sunday morning it turns on fine, but after about 2 seconds it turns itself off.
What should I do if my Onkyo receiver shuts off?

First up you might want to try disconnecting everything from the receiver (speakers, hdmi…whatever other cables) and see if it still shuts off ..if it doesn’t might want to start hooking stuff back up on at a time (double checking for frayed speaker wires and for shorted connections on the speakers themselves.
