Is there a problem with my Yamaha ysp-1100 sound bar?

I have suddenly started getting a problem with my Yamaha YSP-1100 soundbar. When the unit has been turned off for some time, if I try turn it on nothing happens. This is either from the remote control or the power button on the front.
