Only the HDMI input will show the HD picture, all others will be downconverted to SD. IIRC there’s an option in the Sky HD+ menus for HDMI control, when you turn that on it should cause the Sky box to turn on the TV and select the HDMI input when you turn on the Sky box. Not all TVs honour the signal, though.
