Is the Onkyo a9711 a good budget amplifier?
I’d recommend the Onkyo A9711 as worthy of consideration to anyone in the market for a similarly priced integrated amplifier. The Onkyo web-site is informative and worth a visit if you’re seriously considering one of their products. There’s quite a bit of technical information regarding the A9711 – design wise it is not an ordinary budget amp!
Is there a remote control for an Onkyo a-9211 amplifier?
The remote control is multipurpose as it was designed not only for an Onkyo A-9211 amplifier, but for the tuner, CD-player and for two recorders. By the way, the recorders tuning is independent, the are A-deck and B-deck buttons on the RC, while some other models have a selector button instead, and other buttons are mutual.

What should the volume be on an Onkyo receiver?
Who Replied? I just purchased a new Onkyo TX-NR575 receiver to replace my old Onkyo to use with my existing speakers. With this receiver, I have to have the volume at 60+ for the TV to be at a normal volume. My old receiver usually had the volume at 25 and it was almos too loud.

What kind of speakers does the Onkyo 9711 use?
I drive locally made Orpheus CS28 speakers, modified by the manufacturer with Hovland silver capacitors in the high frequency section of the cross over, plus Cardas upgraded wiring throughout. These are a small/medium sized floorstander, twin bass/mid drivers plus tweeter mounted D’Appolita style.
