Is the Marantz SR-73 receiver a new receiver?
I’ve come into possession of a Marantz SR-73 receiver. It’s not new by any stretch of the imagination, but it works great. It was cutting out on the previous owner, who gave it to me.

Why does my Marantz sr7009 keep shutting itself off?
Marantz SR7009 keeps shutting itself off with red flashing stby light (flashes about 2x/sec). Technician’s Assistant:How long has this been going on? Sporadically for a few days. It seems to be triggered whenever I have the machine wake up for a network request (AirPlay).
Why does my Marantz PC turn off and on by itself?
No other electric appliances in the apartment have done the same thing.Also my pc which is connected to it had not restarted.There are no loose wires or speaker wires touching the back of it .There is no overheating problem.There is no blinking light before this happens. How often does my Marantz sr7008 drop sound?
My receiver is only 6 months old and sometimes it just drops sound off for 1-3 seconds when listening in stereo on low volumes. Never happens when watching movie or listening high volumes. For low volume I use 30-40 / 99 and for higher volume/movies 60 / 99.

What to do if Marantz receiver turns off by itself?
Going back to the problem I can only suggest, if your receiver is under warranty, you contact Marantz direct and return the unit for repair. Virtually all manufactures have those terms and conditions (No matter what type of equipment it is) so as to protect their backsides (Butt) from any claims.
