I have a vintage Bose Lifestyle Model 20 Music Center, and it still works well and produces a great sound. But the display was suddenly dimmed one day. I replaced five capacitors (50v 100uF) at C18, C20, C21, C24 and C27, and for a very short of time it glowed back to normal, but once I put the machine back into the casing, it goes dark again.
