Today I tried to add a subwoofer, but can’t get any output from it. Using the Setup button on the Denon remote, I did the test tones and could clearly hear the sub. But I get no sound from it when watching the Roku tv (whether using the cable box, Blu Ray player, or any other app on the tv).

Should be one center speaker, Denon’s manual is a torture test, every model. So I want to check and see if the problem is both your front speakers are fine but your center speaker is the problem?

Why does my Denon x6500h not have a subwoofer?
Before I did this, the subwoofer only kicked in during Dolby Audio surround and DTS Neural x while listening to music. It’s a Glitch on Denon receivers when playing over Airplay. I have the same issue with my Denon X6500H and Denon X6700H when using Roon over Airplay.
